...each and every year.
These Go Red! pants look great on Ally, but it was a process to complete the look. She told me she had, "too much hip," to wear colored skinny denim, but she fell in love with these once I was done.
Here's how I flaunted her assets:
1 To lengthen her neckline, I chose a top and jacket that didn't constrict her neck too much. Showing her upper chest as it blends into her neck gives the illusion of having a longer neck.
2 Before we put on the bold chevron jacket, yes the focus was on her hips with tight red denim. But the chevron jacket completes the look and balances out the hip and shoulder line, drawing your attention upward.
3 The bright red pants and dark black ballet flats created too much contrast and too much attention on her feet. So I rolled up her pant cuffs just a little to show more ankle, break up the stark contrast and help people to look up at her glowing face instead of at her feet.
