What can a Wardrobe Stylist do for you?
"Unlike a hair stylist, my goal is to teach
clients to do this for themselves."
clients to do this for themselves."
I get asked this question a lot.
I usually follow with, "Would you cut your own hair?"
Most of us don't.
A good hair stylist will look at our face shape, eye color, skin color and assess our strong points and then recommend a haircut that brings out the best in our look.
This is what I do, but with clothing...
I analyze your body-type, your figure assets and challenges, your coloring, lifestyle needs and budget. Taking all these factors into consideration, I recommend clothing that will bring out the best in you (accentuate your assets, minimize your challenges, highlight your coloring) while keeping your budget and lifestyle needs in mind. And I've been doing this for more than 15 years.
BUT THIS IS WHERE I AM VERY DIFFERENT!
Unlike a hair stylist, my goal when I work with clients is to teach them how to do this for themselves!
I teach them how to recognize which styles and cuts of clothing are best for their body-type so they stop wasting money on clothes by picking the "wrong" items -- pieces that end up collecting dust in their closet! And I can teach them to find these clothes at any store and at any price point.
In addition to teaching people how to recognize clothes that fit and flatter, I enjoy:
- Translating current trends for REAL women with REAL budgets.
- How to build a core wardrobe.
- New ways to use the clothes already in their closet.
- Develop a professional wardrobe for business travel.
- Create a shopping strategy, which greatly reduces "impulse" purchases at the store.
- Help youth embrace their bodies as they learn to dress it better.
- Teaching people how to shop the off-price stores and find their treasure.
- Eliminate the regrets in their closet.
