Alicia Richmond, founder of Chic on a Shoestring and featured weekly on ABC4's Good Things Utah, will be at my house to help us to stop wasting money on our wardrobe. "The most expensive piece of clothing you own is the item you only wear once or twice," Alicia says. She likes to work with Real People with Real Bodies and Real Budgets.
So to take advantage of group pricing, I'm gathering 10 - 15 women together and the cost is only $40 each. A one-on-one, two-hour shopping consultation with Alicia is typically $150. But first-come, first-served because we want to keep it a small, quaint group, so please join us.
You will:
- Stop wasting money on clothes that are not flattering to your body-type.
- Bring six pieces or three outfits to have evaulated by Alicia.
- Learn the "Rule of Thirds"
- Receive a packet to help you apply the principles.
- Enjoy an evening with friends and leave with a better body self-image (check out the Photo Gallery and the testimonial below).
- Get ready for the summer and learn what type of swimsuit is most flattering for your body.
- Answer the dreaded, "What type of jean?" question.

"I recently hosted a Closet Confession for my family and friends. All the women who came
to the party not only had fun, but felt more confident and motivated to be more positive about dressing
their body type! I myself felt a lot of excitement to get out there and do some shopping, which is not something I generally feel enjoyment from. It was great to bond with my friends while comparing notes about styles,
trends and fit in our shopping struggles. We all laughed and it was a lot of fun for everyone
who came. One of my friends said as she left, "That was probably the most valuable party I've ever been to.
No one was selling me anything and I left with more knowledge about how
I look in my clothes than I ever knew before."
It truly was great and everyone left here feeling happy and positive.
